Kimalee Phillip is an experienced social justice and organizational learning consultant, facilitator, writer, educator and researcher whose work is deeply grounded in, and informed by Black and Caribbean feminist thought and practice. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Human Rights and Law and her Master’s degree in Legal Studies at Carleton University. Kimalee specializes in the fields of legal studies, workers’ rights, gender-based and sexualized violence, anti-colonial, anti-racist pedagogies and organizational development. Kimalee is currently the Director, Human Rights Branch for the Canadian Union of Public Employees where she is stewarding CUPE’s human rights initiatives and building multi-sectoral partnerships to advance relationality, equity and justice.
