Stephen (Steve) Colwell holds a Masters in Counseling Psychology and has more than 15 years of experience designing and delivering services that support individuals and communities through trauma informed, evidence based, and person centred care, rooted in a commitment to social justice, dignity, and equitable access to health and wellbeing. In addition to his frontline experience, Steve has contributed to provincial and national policy reform and research initiatives to reduce structural barriers and improve health outcomes for marginalized communities. Steve has been an active member of the Substance User Network of the Atlantic Region since 2018, collaborated with CDPC in co-developing the Atlantic region Getting to Tomorrow community dialogue, and he is a current member of CDPC’s Board of Directors.
