Rob has worked at the intersection of homelessness, mental health and substance use health in Ottawa for over 35 years. He is committed to transformative change within mental and substance use health systems through evidence-based practice and compassion grounded in the lived experience of people who use drugs. Over the past 2 years, Rob has supported harm reduction service providers and communities navigate service closures and harmful policy changes, knowing that “success is not measured by what you accomplish, but by the opposition you have encountered, and the courage with which you have maintained the struggle against overwhelming odds.” (Orison Swett Marden). Rob has been involved with CDPC for 15 years and currently serves as CDPC’s Treasurer.
