Trip! Project Coordinator (Central Toronto Community Health Centres)
Lori Kufner has degrees in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Toronto, which come in handy when writing grants! She has been involved in Toronto’s numerous party scenes since 2002 as a partier and event organizer and has been a part of the Trip! Project in different roles since 2004. Sitting on a number of committees including the city’s official Toronto Drug Strategy and subsequent Safer Nightlife subcommittee, the Research Group on Drug Use, Harm Reduction of the Americas and the Canadian Drug Policy Coalition just to name a few. Believing whole-heartedly in harm reduction and the idea that knowledge is power, Lori strives to empower youth (and adults) to make their own decisions about their lives.
